La France

The Opera Season is being launched with the usual musical kermesse Eine Kleine Musik, in collaboration with the Municipality of Spoleto, which this year is dedicated to France. Eine Kleine Musik -La France is being staged in the venues of the Teatro Caio Melisso, starting with a musical presentation in the foyer and ending with the staging of Ba-Ta-Clan by J. Offenbach on the stage of the Teatro Caio Melisso. Mariachiara Grilli is the music director and pianist. In the foyer excerpts by Francis Poulenc, Erik Satie and Maurice Ravel are on schedule (the pianists of Teatro Lirico Sperimentale are accompanying the soloist singer Miryam Marcone).

The directors are Giorgio Bongiovanni(in parallel with his activity as an actor, he devoted himself to direction activities, staging – among others –Il matrimonio segreto by D. Cimarosa in San Marino; L’Elisir d’amore by G. Donizetti; Pipa e Barlafuso by A. Caldara; La Zingaretta by L. Leo; La Favola dei tre gobbi by Ciampi/Goldoni; La Bohème by G. Puccini for the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale; Il Matrimonio Segreto by D. Cimarosa for the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn and in Korea Il Barbiere di Siviglia by G. Rossini for KSIOC in Seoul. In 2010 he adapted and directed La sonata a Kreutzer by L. Tolstoj for the Concerts of the “Quirinale” broadcast by Radio RAI. In 2016 he staged a new production of La Bohème by G. Puccini at the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele in Messina) and Lisa Nava (after her art and music studies, she graduated from Università degli Studi in Milan presenting a dissertation on directing in the field of musical theatre. She worked as a director in major theatres such as the Teatro Piccolo in Milan and the Manhattan Opera Studio. Over the past few years she worked in New York); the singers are Zdislava Bocková, Daniela Nineva, Emanuela Sgarlata, Noemi Umani, Susanna Wolff, Giordano Farina, Emanuel Bussaglia and Alessandro Fiocchetti. Eine Kleine Musik is on schedule onFriday 10th August and Saturday 11th August at 6 pm at the Teatro Caio Melisso in Spoleto.
